As crew lead, you'll check in your team of five or six volunteers on arrival, hand out gloves and bags, and walk them to your assigned stretch of Lekki Beach. You'll keep an eye on pace and safety, help log the collected waste by category at the weigh station, and flag anything that needs the event organizers' attention.
No formal certification required — a calm, organized approach and comfort speaking up in a group are what matter most. A short briefing call happens the Thursday before the event.
